The village Halls are located in School Road, and may be booked on an hourly basis, subject to availablity.

Regular users of the Halls are entitled to a discount as follows:

More than three sessions each week: 50%
More than one session each week: 40%
One session each week: 30%
All other Hurst based clubs and societies: 25%

The Halls comprise three separate spaces suitable for a wide range of events.

An area of approximately 200m 2, including a raised stage area.A large, separate kitchen offers facilities for mass catering and offers a large commercial gas cooker, an industrial dishwasher, a large fridge and a warming cabinet.Crockery and place settings are also available.Toilet facilities for the disabled and changing arrangements for toddlers are provided. A public telephone is available in the entrance lobby.

Committee Room Occupying approximately 70m2 , the Committee Room includes facilities for setting up a bar with double doors opening onto the Large Hall for major events.

Comprises a separate building providing 70m2including a small kitchen.

Space for parking up to 60 vehicles is provided within the Halls grounds.

The Halls is a registered charity. Management of the Halls is undertaken by a committee of volunteers drawn from members of the various clubs and societies that make regular use of the Halls.

Commitee Room & Kitchen new roof

The Halls have recently undergone a major refurbishment with grant assistance from the Millennium Commission. However, over £50,000 was raised locally, notably by donations from Hurst Parish Council, Wokingham District Council, Summerleaze, various private benefactors and by numerous fundraising events.

Hurst Village Halls

A new roof has been put over the Commitee Room and Kitchen, and more recently the Small Hall floor has been replace. The large hall floor has also been cleaned and re-sealed (see above pictures).
